The family of a former UVA Children’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) patient hosted a Valentine’s Day cookie-decorating event for current NICU families as a way of giving thanks for their daughter’s care.

Faith Chaudhuri, now 6 years old, was born about three months premature and spent 71 days at the UVA Children’s NICU before being released. She was at Feb. 10 event along with her parents, Derek and Alexandria.

Thank you to the Chaudhuri's for hosting such a wonderful event — and thank you our NICU team members for providing such wonderful care to Faith, her parents, and all of our NICU families!
