24 Epic Phase 2 Training Courses Will Award Continuing Education Credits
We have good news for physicians, nurses, other health professionals and staff members who are scheduled to take Epic Phase 2 training: 24 courses in the curriculum will be awarding continuing education credits. (See list of courses below.) The University of Virginia Office of Continuing Medical Education and the School of Nursing are awarding CME and CNE credits and hours of participation.
Types of continuing education credits available:
- AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™ CME credits – physicians
- ANCC contact hours – nurses
- Hours of participation – other health professionals and staff
How to claim your credits:
- Make sure you receive a CME Activity code at the completion of each approved class
- Use that code to log onto cmevillage.com
- Claim your credit by completing the online evaluation. You can complete your evaluation on mobile devices, such as smart phones and tablets, as well as computers. Evaluations work on all browsers such as Internet Explorer, Chrome and Firefox but do not work on Safari.
- You can print your transcripts at any time at cmevillage.com
How many credits will you receive?
The number of credits you earn will be based on the number of hours associated with each course. For example, if a course is four hours long, each learner will earn 4 credits*.
What Epic Phase 2 courses are offering continuing education credit?
At the completion of each course learners will log into www.cmevillage.com and claim their continuing education credit using the assigned CME Activity code that will be distributed during class for the following courses.
