The UVA Health IT SecurityTeam is rolling a new Access Management Platform (AMP) on August 14, 2021. AMP is a replacement for our current platform, the Online Access Request (OAR) application, which was launched in 2010. Similar to the existing OAR, AMP will be an online application where you can request employee access to UVA Health systems such as Epic, PeopleSoft, and PACS.

AMP provides role-based access to create an automatic process for assigning individuals, not a job title, the appropriate access. And, thanks to your feedback, we've added some new user-friendly features we think you'll enjoy:

• Batch approvals are a snap with a new Approve All option.
• Save time with the simplied request process.
• Delegate while you are away. Managers may select one delegate to assist with approving access related requests on their behalf.

In addition to the new method by which roles are assigned, the AMP features an updated design, making it easier for managers to request and validate employee access.

Training resources, available in Workday, and a schedule for AMP demos will be released soon.
