Connect

 We’ve launched a new Connect series called "Five on Friday.” Each week we’ll spotlight a different team member and ask them five fun questions. It's a lighthearted way to foster connections and celebrate the individuals who make up our one UVA Health team.  

Ryan Thompson, BSN, RN, is the RN Clinical Program Coordinator for Operational Readiness and has been with UVA Health since August 2023. In her role, Ryan is a clinical liaison who facilitates work to develop new or improved health system spaces and/or operations. 

What are two things still on your bucket list?  

My big bucket list items are to volunteer clinical services in Africa and go hiking in Patagonia!  

What was the make and model of your first car?  

Green Honda Civic. 

Who was your favorite teacher and why?  

My fourth-grade teacher, Mr. Wolf. Because he was obsessed with wolves! Very cool as a 9-year-old.  

What is the perfect age?  

23 and 36. Past and present.  

What’s the last photo on your camera roll? 

 My kids, Charlie (7) and Remy (5), running down to our river to check out the damage from the storm.
