Behind the Scenes of Season’s Treatings: What It Took to Bring Presents to Pediatric Patients This Christmas
UVA Child Life Specialists and the Patient Family Centered Care Committee of the UVA Children’s Advisory Board hosted Season’s Treatings last week to provide gifts to children in the hospital.
The Season's Treatings team set up a holiday toy shop with gifts donated by UVA team members, local donors, and other local organizations, including Operation BradyStrong Mission M&M Christmas Toy Drive. All gifts are free to families.

Y’all are so great! Reading and seeing these photos makes me tear up. When my son was in the hospital these child life people were truly amazing in keeping him occupied and trying to keep his mind off of what was going on. I know all the parents appreciate this effort. He was happy when a blanket was given to him which he still has and cherishes from his two week stay.
