Springtime Greetings to all UVA Health Access team members!

There is no better way to bring in the new season than to celebrate Access Week, April 3-9! 

Did you know that the National Association of Healthcare Access Management’s (NAHAM) Access Week is a long-standing, annual tradition to raise awareness and celebrate Patient Access contributions? At UVA Health, we will be recognizing and celebrating the ongoing work and contributions of Access Teams across the health system as individual teams and as one team united! 

To help you do that, the Access Week planning committee is thrilled to share a suggested Spirit Week schedule with you. It has been thoughtfully created by Access Team Members for Access Team Members, from the topics selected for the enrichment sessions to the suggested dress up days. All was planned with you in mind and with the theme "Stronger Together: Embracing the Future."

Are you a team member in Patient Friendly Access, the Revenue Cycle Patient Access Team, Pre-Arrival Financial Clearance, the Revenue Cycle Training Team, or the Service Line and CPG Clinic Access Teams? If so, it’s time to get excited!  

It is not required that you follow this schedule, but we hope you’ll at least try to participate in a few things.
