Today, we come together to honor National Doctors' Day — a moment set aside each year to recognize the extraordinary dedication of our doctors and to express how deeply grateful we are for everything they do. Day in and day out, our doctors are transforming lives through exceptional patient care, pushing medicine forward through groundbreaking research, and investing in the next generation of physicians — all while being an invaluable part of the UVA Health family.

In the spirit of this special day, we invite you to watch this video, which captures the story of one patient whose life was changed forever by the care she received at UVA Health. Her story is a powerful reminder of what our doctors make possible — and it is a story that plays out in our places of care every single day.
