Dear Colleagues,

The Health Information Technology (HIT) team will implement Epic Hyperdrive across all UVA Health entities this spring. Hyperdrive is Epic’s custom web browser, and the new way team members will access Epic to complete routine patient care activities.

To make the transition to Hyperdrive easier for our team members, we will go live in phases:

• UVA Health Culpeper Medical Center: Wednesday, April 24
• All Remaining Sites: Wednesday, May 22

All team members should take time to prepare for the changes you will encounter. Training materials are available starting today in the Epic Learning Library (ELL) and most team members will need approximately 15 minutes to review them to prepare for the Hyperdrive changes.
