First-dose COVID-19 vaccination appointments are ending for team members on Sunday, Jan. 31. Any UVA Health member who has not received their COVID vaccine can book a first-vaccination visit at the Education Resource Center in Vax Trax.

This deadline is being set to support the Blue Ridge Health District expand vaccinations to the broader community, starting with those age 75 and older.

After Jan. 31, team members will remain eligible for vaccination as a member of the health care workforce but will need to book appointments through the Blue Ridge Health District. Learn more from the Virginia Department of Health.
