Speakers include Rachel Bluebond-Langner, MD, Laura and Isaac Perlmutter Associate Professor of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery at NYU Langone Health, New York, NY; Charley Burton, Sydney Walther and Rochelle Walther, panelists; and John T. Stranix, MD, UVA Assistant Professor in the Departments of Plastic Surgery and Urology, moderator.

Dr. Bluebond-Langner is the Laura and Isaac Perlmutter Associate Professor of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery at NYU Langone Health. She serves as co-director of Transgender Surgery Services and performs the full spectrum of gender affirming genital and chest surgeries in a multidisciplinary setting. She serves as Associate Editor of both the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Journal and the International Journal for Transgender Health and is active in gender affirming surgery outcomes research.

Dr. Stranix is as an Assistant Professor in the Departments of Plastic Surgery and Urology. He joined the UVA Health faculty in 2019 after completing his plastic surgery residency training at NYU and a reconstructive microsurgery fellowship at Penn. Specializing in complex reconstruction, he has developed a focus in gender affirming surgical care of the chest, body, and genitals. He leads the UVA Health Gender Affirming Surgery Program.
