The School of Medicine has unveiled a new video underscoring its commitment to pioneering biomedical research. The feature includes commentary from faculty researchers who highlight the school’s longstanding leadership in scientific discovery and its critical role in shaping the future of healthcare through translational and interdisciplinary research.

UVA's commitment to advancing medical science is evident in its recent advancements that address some of the most complex medical problems of our age, including Alzheimer’s Disease and HIV. 

The school’s dedication to research is further demonstrated by the groundbreaking of the Paul and Diane Manning Institute of Biotechnology. The institute will enhance UVA's capacity to translate scientific discoveries into effective treatments.
