Each year, the Nursing Excellence Awards recognize nurses and their interprofessional colleagues for compassion, expertise, exemplary patient care, and teamwork.

TJ Lovdal, RN, Professional Nursing Staff Organization (PNSO) President, and Mesha Jones, RN, PNSO President-Elect, hosted the 22nd annual ceremony, which was held virtually and in-person.

"Thank you to our nominees for going above and beyond every single day," said. Jones. "We are here to celebrate and honor you for your excellence care, your transformational leadership, and your ingenuity. Congratulations to each and every one of you for your nomination."

"The nominations that have been written are just absolutely out of this world," said Kathy Baker, PhD, RN, Chief Nursing Officer. "The winners are really the best of the best. ...
