On Sept. 8, UVA Health will be holding a special blood drive to benefit our pediatric sickle cell program through the UVA Pediatric Sickle Cell Clinic. These patients need your help to live. Be the Match

In conjunction with the blood drive, Be the Match (flyer) will also have a table set up with information about bone marrow donation and how to sign up for the registry. A simple cheek swab is all it takes to join the national registry of donors. Donors stand ready to say "YES" if selected as a match to save a life of a patient in need. More information.
