Update #4: Winter Storm — Parking and Accommodations for Feb. 12
UVA Health Team Members,
Thank you to all team members who continue to provide exceptional care for our patients, while supporting one another through this winter weather event. You remain at the forefront of our mission, ensuring that those who depend on us receive the best care possible amidst challenging circumstances. We are deeply grateful for your hard work and dedication.
Currently, our plan is to open the majority of clinics (including those on-grounds) at 12 p.m. tomorrow, Feb. 12. Please note that our response team will be assessing road conditions very early in the morning to ensure accessibility across our operations. If there is a change in this guidance, we will communicate that as quickly as possible.
Designated Medical Center teams. Designated team members should report to work as scheduled in order to maintain critical operations. If you support patient operations — either in a clinical setting (nursing, LIP, etc.), ancillary service (radiology, pharmacy, etc.) or support service (EVS, supply chain, food services, etc.) — it is critical that you arrive to work to support in the delivery of patient care. For information on accommodations, please see below. For information on your reporting status, please refer to Modified Medical Center Operations and discuss questions with your supervisor.
Non-designated University Medical Center/School of Medicine teams. Please align with your supervisor on your reporting status for tomorrow.

If traveling during this time, please be sure to check the weather prior to departing and plan additional time for your commute. Latest operational updates in real-time will be posted to the Status Board.
