Women’s History Month 2024 Events: Women Who Advocate for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion
We acknowledge and celebrate the countless women who have advocated for equity, diversity, and inclusion throughout the years at UVA Health — moving us forward in our bold vision “to be the nation’s leading public academic health system and a best place to work — while transforming patient care, research, education, and engagement with the diverse communities we serve.”
This year’s, the Women’s History Month theme, “Women Who Advocate for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion,” recognizes women who understand that — for a positive future — we need to eliminate bias and discrimination from our lives and institutions.
The UVA Health Office of Diversity and Community Engagement welcomes team members to join on-site and virtual events this March featuring women who are committed to embracing everyone — and excluding no one — in our common quest for freedom, and Health and Hope for All.
