Wishing You a Happy Thanksgiving
UVA Health Team Members:
As millions of people across the country gather to celebrate Thanksgiving, we reflect on the true essence of this tradition — a time to come together, express gratitude, and appreciate the many blessings in our lives. Thanksgiving is the one day of the year that is truly about gratitude, and all of us are grateful for all of you, our 17,000 team members across UVA Health.
We have experienced an extraordinary year across the health system all due in thanks to your caring and dedication to our patients, to each other, to our students, and to our communities. Thanksgiving is the perfect time to say how much we appreciate your many contributions throughout the year.
We are humbled by your commitment to caring for our communities, and putting our patients at the center of everything we do. We know many of you will be caring for our patients on Thanksgiving Day, taking time away from your own families; we are so grateful for your selflessness today and every day.
As we embrace the comfort and enjoyment of Thanksgiving, and the celebration of our own traditions that make this holiday so special, please take a moment to read about our fellow team members’ favorite foods and holiday rituals in Connect.
Thank you all, and may you have a safe and healthy Thanksgiving.
