Elevating Care: UVA Health University Medical Center FY26 Q2 Patient Experience Awards
Each quarter, UVA Health University Medical Center Patient Experience Office recognizes departments that exemplify our shared commitment to delivering safe, compassionate, and coordinated care.
Awards are presented within each survey service category:
- Top Performer honors the department that exceeds fiscal year targets in “Staff Work Together to Care for You” and one overall experience measure (“Likelihood to Recommend,” “Rate Hospital/Facility,” or “Overall Rating”) — achieving the highest combined variance to goal within its category.
- Most Improved recognizes the department demonstrating the greatest quarter-over-quarter progress in these same core experience measures.
These awards reflect more than performance metrics — they represent the voices of our patients and families. This quarter, our team had the privilege of presenting awards in person and celebrating the remarkable dedication of our colleagues who continue to elevate the care experience across UVA Health University Medical Center.
