UVA Health held an Open House and Ribbon Cutting on May 29 at its newest location: Plastic Surgery Pantops, 650 Peter Jefferson Parkway, Charlottesville.

Attendees toured and learned more about the beautiful, open, warm, and inviting clinical space that provides a comfortable, modern setting for a wide range of cosmetic procedures and services. They also met care team members, advanced practice providers, and board-certified physicians — and connected with community partners, key stakeholders, current and prospective patients, and referring providers.

The expansion reflects UVA Health's continued commitment to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care in a convenient location that offers cosmetic procedures previously performed at Plastic Surgery Clinic, West Complex.

“It's an opportunity for us to get out of the main hospital footprint and into the community where we feel that we can provide a level of care that is, I think, a little easier to deliver in that sort of a setting,” Michael Grant, MD, Medical Director, UVA Health Plastic Surgery Pantops, and Milton Egerton Endowed Professor of Plastic Surgery, UVA School of Medicine, tells the media. “We’re excited to have our providers see everyone. These are all established providers within the UVA Health ... experts in their field ... who've been doing what they do for a long time. It’s the clinic location that’s new, not the providers."
